Dylan Jacob Klinck

I was born in Nashville, but have lived in Knoxville for the last 10 years through my time going to UT. I graduated in 2016 with a degree in Communications, and Business Minor. I started in insurance early 2018, and have grown into running my own business since then. Today I am the owner of Klinck Agency, which is a health insurance agency here in Knoxville. I am a huge UT sports fan, and enjoy networking, social media marketing and spending time with my beautiful girlfriend Jessica, and my 1 year old bulldog, Witten.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I grow up with my mom Melany, my dad Steve and brother Chandler in Franklin, TN.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I am currently a health insurance agency and business owner. I love helping people solve their health insurance problems.

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Best Wings: The Hill, Best Pizza Sergeant Pepperoni’s and Pizzeria Nora, Best BBQ Oakwood BBQ, Best Latin/Mexican Chez Guevara.

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
10 years.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Maybe the Bahamas, but its football season so I like where I’m at.

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
I’m Basic: The Office, Parks and Rec, Step Brothers.

Q: What advice would you give to people?
Start early, work late. Set goals, put a laser-focus on your outcome, remove excuses and you will achieve success.

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
Have a family.

Q: What is your go to band when you cant decide what to listen to?
Kings of Leon, Pigeons playing Ping Pong.

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
I love the old Décor of Chesapeake’s downtown.

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Napoleon Hill, we would eat at Chesapeakes.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
How everyone wears orange and when you see someone during football season your greeting is “Go Vols”

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
I would love to grow my Agency, or pursue another business venture. As long as I continue to help and work with people I will be happy.

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I dunno, I’m an open book. Maybe that I’m into watching streamers on Twitch.

Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
Zion Canyon, was pretty incredible, Hawaii as well.

Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
I love September because its football Season. Best day on the calendar is 11/14 which is mine and Jessica’s anniversary.

Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
Tennessee Football.

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
Jessica, my mentors at work Lynn Rawlings, Andy Montague, and of course my Mom Melany

Q: What is one or two of your favorite smells?
Love the smell of Sunscreen at the beach.

Go Vols, Tennessee, Rocky Top.
